Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between GRI and ISSB reporting?

GRI uses a double materiality lens — disclosing both impacts on society/environment and financial risks — and is widely used for stakeholder-facing sustainability reports. ISSB IFRS S1/S2 focuses on investor-facing financial materiality, specifically climate-related financial risks and opportunities. Many companies need both: GRI for supply-chain buyers and NGO stakeholders, ISSB S1/S2 for investors and capital markets.

Is ISSB reporting mandatory for manufacturers?

ISSB S1/S2 has been adopted as mandatory by several jurisdictions including the UK (by 2026 for listed companies), Australia, and Singapore. For non-EU manufacturers supplying EU companies or accessing capital markets, ISSB-aligned reporting is rapidly becoming a buyer and investor expectation even where not yet legally mandatory.

What is CDP and why does it matter?

CDP is a global disclosure platform used by investors, customers and cities to assess environmental transparency. Over 23,000 companies disclose through CDP. An A-list score is increasingly required by large OEM customers as part of supplier sustainability assessments. A CDP submission requires verified GHG data, science-based targets alignment and board-level governance evidence.

How long does an ESG report take to produce?

Our standard ESG report takes 10–12 weeks: 2 weeks for materiality assessment and stakeholder mapping, 4–5 weeks for data collection, drafting and internal review, 2–3 weeks for design and final formatting. Companies with existing GHG inventory data can often complete in 8–9 weeks.

How much does an ESG report cost?

Our ESG Reporting engagement starts at €7,000, covering a materiality matrix and stakeholder map, GRI Universal and ISSB S1/S2 disclosures, CDP A-list-ready response pack, KPI dashboard with 15+ metrics, and a designed PDF report up to 60 pages. A fast-track option starts from €4,500 for companies with existing data and prior reporting.
