The EUDR covers cattle/beef, cocoa, coffee, oil palm, rubber, soy and wood, plus thousands of derived products, applying from 30 December 2026 for large and medium operators and 30 June 2027 for micro and small operators. Leather's status is changing β in May 2026 the Commission proposed removing cattle hides, skins and leather from the EUDR through a draft delegated act, but until that act is final and in force, leather should be treated as potentially still in scope.
