Due Diligence Statement (DDS) per Shipment

The formal declaration submitted via TRACES NT, backed by geolocation, supplier and legality evidence that stands up to EU customs review.

📍

Plot-Level Polygon Mapping

KML / GeoJSON geolocation for every plot over 4 hectares in your supply chain — the core traceability requirement EUDR is built around.

🔗

First-Mile Collector Mapping & Risk Scoring

The hardest part of most EUDR programmes — tracing back to the actual collectors and farms, not just tier-1 suppliers.

🛰️

Satellite Deforestation Cross-Check

Your mapped plots checked against current satellite deforestation-alert data, so your DDS holds up before EU customs checks it too.

EUDR-coveredCoffee, cocoa, soy, palm, beef, timber, rubber — and, pending a final delegated act, leatherFrom €6,0006–10 weeks

EUDR applies from 30 December 2026 for large and medium operators, and 30 June 2027 for micro and small operators. In May 2026 the Commission proposed removing leather from scope — until that act is final and in force, treat leather as potentially still covered. Either way, the traceability data required is the same data EU buyers and CSRD reporting already demand.

Frequently asked questions

When does the EUDR deadline apply?

The EUDR applies from 30 December 2026 for large and medium operators and traders, and 30 June 2027 for micro and small operators. The Commission has confirmed the 30 December 2026 date will not be delayed again.

Is leather still covered by the EUDR?

Leather's status is changing. In May 2026 the Commission proposed removing cattle hides, skins and leather from the EUDR through a draft delegated act. Until that act is final and in force, treat leather as potentially still in scope — the traceability data required either way is the same data EU buyers and CSRD reporting demand.

Which commodities does EUDR cover?

Cattle/beef, cocoa, coffee, oil palm, rubber, soy and wood, plus thousands of derived products — and, pending a final delegated act, leather. All carry the same 30 December 2026 deadline for large and medium operators.

What is a Due Diligence Statement (DDS)?

A DDS is the formal declaration submitted per shipment via the EU's TRACES NT system, backed by plot-level geolocation data, supplier mapping and legality evidence, confirming the goods are deforestation-free and legally produced.

How much does EUDR compliance cost?

Our standard EUDR Due Diligence & Traceability engagement starts at €6,000, covering DDS preparation per shipment, plot-level polygon mapping, first-mile collector mapping and risk scoring, satellite deforestation cross-checks, and a TRACES NT upload-ready evidence file. Typical delivery is 6–10 weeks.
