Frequently asked questions

When does the EUDR enforcement deadline apply?

The EUDR applies from 30 December 2026 for large and medium operators and traders, and 30 June 2027 for micro and small operators. The Commission confirmed the 30 December 2026 deadline will not be delayed again.

What is a Due Diligence Statement (DDS)?

A DDS is the formal declaration submitted per shipment via the EU's TRACES NT system. It must be backed by plot-level geolocation data, supplier mapping, and legality evidence confirming goods are deforestation-free and legally produced in the country of origin.

Which commodities does EUDR cover?

Cattle/beef, cocoa, coffee, oil palm, rubber, soy and wood, plus thousands of derived products. Leather's status is changing — the Commission proposed removing it in May 2026 pending a delegated act, but treat it as potentially still in scope until that act is in force.

How many SKUs and suppliers are covered?

Our Professional engagement covers 100 SKUs, 20 suppliers and 50 origin plots. Add-ons are €180 per additional supplier and €55 per additional plot. Enterprise engagements cover larger operator scopes with custom volume and on-site validation.

What is the difference between this and your EUDR Compliance service?

Our EUDR Compliance Readiness service covers regulatory gap assessment and implementation planning. This Due Diligence & Traceability service delivers the operational outputs — the DDS, geolocation data, supplier mapping and legality-document register needed per actual shipment.
